Leadership
Leadership in the Church is a stewardship. It is not about position, recognition or control. It is about faithfully serving Christ, caring for people and helping others become everything God has called them to be.

How I lead
Before strategy comes prayer. Before decisions come discernment. Before action comes seeking God. Effective pastoral leadership begins with dependence upon God rather than confidence in our own ability.
Jesus demonstrated that spiritual leadership begins with serving. A pastor should never ask others to do something he is unwilling to do himself. Leadership earns trust through humility, consistency and example.
People want to know that their pastor sees them, hears them and cares about them. Good leadership requires listening — to God, to Scripture, to leaders, to families, to young people and to the congregation.
I don't want to build a church that depends on one pastor. My approach is: Identify → Invest → Equip → Empower → Release. The greatest evidence of leadership is how many people you have helped become leaders themselves.
Healthy ministry is rarely built by one person. I believe pastors should build teams around Character, Calling, Competence, Commitment and Collaboration, bringing different gifts together around a shared mission.
I respect the history and traditions of the local church, and I believe we must keep asking: is this helping us fulfil the mission God has given us? We can honour yesterday, serve today and prepare for tomorrow.
A healthy church should continually produce disciples, leaders, ministries, missionaries, church planters and the next generation of believers.
My leadership commitment
I will lead with conviction without becoming harsh, with compassion without compromising truth, with vision without losing humility, and with confidence without forgetting dependence upon God.
