My Calling
I do not see pastoral ministry simply as a position to hold. I see it as a calling to steward faithfully before God.
Where my journey began
My journey into pastoral ministry was not built around a title. It was shaped over many years through serving, learning, leading, praying, preaching, caring for people and watching God work through His Church.
From my earliest years in ministry, I learned that the local church is not merely an organisation. It is the Body of Christ — a place where people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, find community and discover their purpose.
My ministry journey began in 1992 through service in the local church, particularly in worship and youth ministry.
Learning to shepherd
Serving under his pastoral leadership and mentorship became a significant part of my formation. I had the privilege of learning pastoral ministry not simply from books, but through observing ministry up close — preaching, worship, prayer, pastoral care, leadership, administration, difficult decisions, family ministry and the everyday realities of caring for people.

The call to pastoral leadership
Following the passing of my father, I stepped into the responsibility of Lead Pastor at First Assembly of Zion Ministries. That season deepened my understanding of what pastoral leadership really requires: courage to lead, humility to listen, wisdom to discern, compassion to shepherd, strength to persevere and faith to trust God.
People matter more than programs.
Character matters more than charisma.
Faithfulness matters more than recognition.
Discipleship matters more than attendance.
Prayer must come before strategy.
Leaders must be developed, not merely used.
The next generation must be discipled and released.
The Church exists for mission.
Why I am seeking the next season
Today, I am prayerfully seeking where God would have me serve in the next season of ministry. I am not looking simply for another position. I am seeking a church family where I can faithfully serve, shepherd, preach, teach, equip and lead.
My desire is to join a congregation that wants to move forward together — remaining faithful to Scripture, dependent upon the Holy Spirit, committed to discipleship and passionate about reaching people with the Gospel.
